THE FOLD

The Fold exists to provide refuge to children in need, by investing love. The plight of the young and defenseless has always been close to their hearts. Their primary vision is to assist children, who have been ravaged by the loss of family, poverty, disease and abuse. They are located on a farm outside of Vaalwater. They have family style living with indigenous parents and will have up to 8 children in each home. Eight houses are planned, the first three houses have been in operation and they hope to have a fourth opening soon.

The children at the homes will be taught English, but will also speak an African language. They will all be taught basic skills such as cooking, cleaning, sewing, gardening, taking care of animals.
